Pain and bending

This is in response to two enquiries: (1) Pain in buttocks when bending sideways; and (2) Pain in right side when bending to left side.

(1) If there is pain in the buttocks when bending sideways, it indicates that the group of diagonal muscles in the butt are tight and are being pulled when one bends sideways. This can be the result of a fall, a twist in playing golf, a twist in picking up something heavy from the floor improperly, a wrong twist while exercising, when one swings a baseball bat adn the torso and the butt each turn in opposite directions, etc.

(2) Pain in the right side when bending to the left side may indicate weak liver, appendicitis, appendix stone, right ovarian inflammation, etc.
