Calf muscle tenses when I walk

Keep some vapor rub or muscle pain relief gel handy. Carry some in the pocket, in the purse, in the briefcase, in the car, and always remember to apply a generous dose of vapor rub or muscle pain relief gel on the calf before one starts to walk. When one is at home, take a hot water shower and use the showerhead to blast the calf with hot water jets to relax the muscle. Do this before going to bed and in the morning before one goes walking or jogging or driving.
