One year after a cesarean should be sufficient for the cut wound to have healed completely.
The purpose of skipping rope a year after a cesarean is to lose weight and to get rid of the remaining belly “tire” that does not seem to go away. In this case, skipping rope and or trampoline jumping and even stantionary row boat exercises where there is back and forth movement of the abdominal muscles are all good.
Skipping rope does not seem to impact the belly muscles as forcefully as heavy jogging and running where each step creates a shock through the heels. In skipping rope, the ball or front of the sole bounces off the ground, not the heels.
