Is white wine acidic or alkaline?

In response.

There are many different kinds of white wines. Californian and Australian wines, white or red, are acidic. New York wines, white or red, sweet or dry, are quite alkaline. Chinese rice wine and Japanese rice wine are white and they are very alkaline.

The higher the alcohol content by volume, i.e., any good wine with an alcohol content of 17% or higher is generally alkaline. Hard liquors are all alkaline.
