Aloe vera and gangrene

In response to the enquiry: “Does aloe cure gangrene?”

The important thing in treating gangrene is to dry the wound by removing the pus and the clostridia inside the wound. That means washing the wound, not dressing the wound, until the wound is clear.

Aloe vera gel acts like an antibiotic gel. It seals the wound and promotes healing. Aloe also prevents oxidation. Oxidation occurs when the skin and scab turn brown and when iron becomes rusty.

The process that kills the clostridia that produces the foul smelling blister is oxygenation.
