In acupressure, finger pressure will produce heat and a burning sensation. Finger pressure and slapping stimulates blood flow, oxygen flow, and muscle movement. all of these creates energy consumption and the release of heat. Pressure and compression creates heat. Even with inanimate objects, extreme pressure produces heat.
