Bug bite, stiffness, muscle and back aches

In response to enquiries: “Bug bite on neck stiffness” and “Muscle ache and severe backache following mosquito bite”.

Bug bites affect the nervous system. The nerves controlling muscle movement are bundled at the base of the skull and they extend down the spinal cord which protects them.

Muscle stiffness reflects obstructed “flow” of neurons along the nervous pathways that initiate and control muscle movement.

Muscle ache and severe backache reflect abnormal or overly sensitive nerve reactions due to temporary dysfunction or perhaps inflammation of the nerves as a result of the mosquito bite.
