Arms turning purple

In response to the comment: “heart surgery, arms turning purple”.

Arms turning purple indicates there is dying blood accumulating in the blood vessels in the arms.

Blood not being pumped forcefully by the heart to the arms is a possibility.

Rubbing and massaging the arms vigorously to stimulate blood flow in the arms may reduce the accumulation of dying blood in the arms.
