Kid gets ALL after living in newly remodeled home
A kid around three years old was sent to live with relatives in a recently remodeled home in Nanjing city.
He stayed for 15 days.
He fell ill after he left the newly remodeled home and was sent to the Nanjing Children’s Hospital.
Hematologist Fang Yongjun said, acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) affects children between three and seven years old. Some 80% of acute leukemia patients get acute lymphocytic leukemia.
Toxic fumes released by construction material used in interior remodeling are the suspected cause of the kid’s acute lymphocytic leukemia.
There is an 80% to 85% chance that the kid will live a normal life.
