Chinese mainland tourists trashing mail drop boxes in Seoul, South Korea!
A male Chinese mainland tourist was about to throw a cigarette butt into a mail drop box in front of a department store in downtown Seoul, South Korea. A Korean street vendor saw what the ugly Chinese mainland tourist was about to do so he shouted: “That is a mail drop box!” The ugly Chinese mainland tourist then left with his cigarette butt in hand.
Head of the postal carriers at the Meongdong branch of Seoul’s Central Post Office said: Some 10 liters of cigarette butts, orange peels, bamboo picks, pumpkin seeds and very dirty trash are found in mail drop boxes every day. The mail drop box in front of the East Gate Market yields from 2 to 3 liters of trash every day. He also pointed out jokingly: One can tell who’s selling what to the Chinese mainland tourists just by looking at the trash thrown into the mail drop boxes.
Some South Korean mail drop boxes now even have Chinese characters on them indicating that they are mail drop boxes. However, the Chinese mainland tourists ignore them and continue to throw cigarette butts and trash into the mail drop boxes in Seoul, South Korea!
