Chylomicronemia

A 41-year-old man named Yuan stayed at home surfing the web and eating a lot of meat during the holidays.  Over the past two days, he felt dizzy, so he went to the Pu’ai Hospital in Wuhan city.  A blood test showed that his blood fat level was three times normal, and the blood appeared milky white.  He had chylomicronemia.

Chylomicronemia is an excessive amount of chylomicrons or microscopic lipid particles in the blood during fat digestion and assimilation.
