Taiwan’s life expectancy “drops”!

Taiwan’s average life expectancy in 2014 is 79.84 years old, Taiwan women’s life expectancy is 83.19 years old and Taiwan men’s life expectancy is 76.72 years old.  Both are lower than in 2013.  The reason for the “drop” is that the number of deaths in 2014 reached a ten-year high of 163,327 people, 7,641 more deaths than in 2013, and the main causes of death of seniors 65 years old and older are malignant tumors, hear attacks, pneumonia, and accidental deaths.  For babies born in 2013, their life expectancy is 80.02 years.  For babies born in 2014, their life expectancy is only 80 years.
