Hong Kong has more women than men

in 2015, Hong Kong had a population of 7,219,000 people, 3,329,000 were males and 3,890,000 were females.  The population of unmarried people over 15 years old in Hong Kong was 1,973,000 or 30.9% of the total population.  There were 1,010,400 unmarried females and 962,700 unmarried males over the age of 15.  The ratio was 856 males to 1,000 females.  If foreign female domestic helpers working in Hong Kong are excluded, the ratio was 936 males to 1,000 females.  Among those between 40 and 44 years old, women greatly outnumber men.
