Malignant tumors: 197/100,000 people; heart disease: 82.9/100,000; cerebrovascular disease:  50.1/100,000; pneumonia:  44.2/100,000; diabetes: 42.1/100,000; chronic lower respiratory tract disease:  27.5/100,000; high blood pressure:  23.3/100,000; chronic liber disease and hardening of the liver:  21.2/100,000; kidney inflammation and kidney infection:  20.8/100,000.

Malignant tumors:  243.6/100,000; heart disease: 98.2/100,000; cerebrovascular disease: 59.7/100,000; pneumonia: 53.9/100,000; diabetes: 41.8/100,000; chronic lower respiratory tract disease: 40.2/100,000; chronic liber disease and hardening of the liver:  30.4/100,000; high blood pressure: 24.2/100,000; kidney inflammation and kidney disease: 21.7/100,000.

Malignant tumors:  150.4/100,000; heart disease 67.6/100,000; diabetes 42.4/100,000; cerebrovascular disease: 40.6/100,000; pneumonia: 34.6/100,000; high blood pressure:  22.5/100,000; kidney inflammation and kidney disease: 19.9/100,000; chronic lower respiratory tract disease: 14.8/100,000; and septicemia: 12.3/100,000.

A separate study has shown that 82% of all cancers among Taiwanese women are pulmonary adenocarcinomas.

The tenth killer of Taiwanese is traffic accidents.  In general, the death rate of traffic fatalities is 30.4/100,000.  Among Taiwanese men, the rate of traffic fatalities is 43.7/100,000, and the rate of traffic fatalities among Taiwanese women is 17.2/100,000.
