Liver transplants in Hong Kong and Beijing

According to Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, there were 1207 liver transplantations performed from 1991 to 2015.  The patients were between 3 and 66 years old.  There were 100 of them who also had jaundice.

Between 2009 and 2014, the Beijing Liberation Army Hospital 302 reported that among all the 1985 patients with liver damage, 28% or 563 patients had taken Chinese herbal remedies and 49% or 870 of them have taken Western medications.
