Novel use of endoscopic laser treatment

An engineer of 40 years old began having really foul bad breath about three years ago (2013).  Close examination revealed that a hole in his esophagus was somehow perforated, and a “small pouch” had grown on the side of the esophageal wall, trapping food inside.

In this case, endoscopic laser treatment was performed to remove the obstructive “pouch”, a growth of tissue that has been trapping food.
