Malaysian tropical rain forest park’s mosquitos spread dengue fever

In the evening on July 24, 2016, Taipei Taoyuan International Airport health personnel detected two sick members among a group of 33 Taiwanese youths who visited the tropical rain forest park in Malaysia.  The two sick members were confirmed to have contracted dengue fever.  Up to July 27, 2016, since the beginning of the year, there have been 375 cases of local dengue fever and 161 imported dengue fever cases from Indonesia, Malaysia, and dengue fever has been on the rise also in the Philippines, Thailand, Laos and Singapore.
