Hiccups, abdominal distention indicated diffusive hepatic tumor

A 30-year-old man was having continuous hiccups and abdominal distention for several weeks.  There was also a loss of appetite.  He went to the Taipei Municipal United Hospital and underwent an ultrasound checkup.  The doctors found that he had a diffusive hepatic tumor with complications of hepatic portal vein thrombosis.

According to the doctors, if abdominal distention lasts for over one week, it is advisable to get a checkup for possible diffusive hepatic tumor.
