Taiwan revises legal access to public transportation for service dogs

Starting in October, 2017, Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation will implement a revised law to allow legal access to public transportation for service dogs.

Currently, only guide dogs for the blind are allowed access to public transportation in Taiwan.  The new law will also allow legal access to public transportation for service dogs for the physically handicapped and service dogs for those with hearing difficulties and young puppies undergoing police dog training.
