Stress factors of the Taiwanese desk jobber

A Tung Foundation survey of 1,138 responses conducted in 2018 showed that the five major stress factors of Taiwanese desk jobbers are:  (1) workload; (2)  physical health; (3) time; (4)  the boss; and (5) advanced study after work.

These factors may also contribute to the high percentage of desk jobbers with fatty liver.

A 2014 survey by Taiwan’s Liver Diseases Foundation of 9,000 desk jobbers using ultrasound exam showed that 43% of them suffer from fatty liver, and among male desk jobbers, 49% of them suffer from fatty liver.
