Taiwan’s one-person households

There are 2,750,000 one-person households in Taiwan, constituting 32% of all households.

At the end of March, 2018, Taiwan’s household registration showed there were 3,310,000 seniors 65 years old and older, constituting 14.1% of Taiwan’s total population.

In Chiayi, seniors constitute 18.61% of its population.
