Mantra of Medicine Buddha said to promote healing

A 95-year-old woman named Yang Chang Yueh-yun of Taiwan suffered from multiple organ failure. Her attending physician Wang Jie-shan declared her condition incurable and sent her home on November 14, 2014.

She had been hospitalized for about a dozen days in November for multiple organ failure.

After she was sent home to die, an altar was set up in the living room awaiting her demise. The old woman was already near death and unresponsive.

For the past two to three months, old lady Yang Chang Yueh-yun had been reciting the mantra of the Medicine Master of Lapis Lazuli Light (Bhaisajyaguru) Buddha.

The family members, seeing her unresponsive, placed a pair of earphones over her ears and repeatedly played an audio recording of the mantra of the Medicine Master of Lapis Lazuli Light Buddha.

According to family members, after five minutes, the 95-year-old lady suddenly opened her eyes, began to clap her hands, then put her palms together and began reciting the mantra of the Medicine Buddha.

On November 16, 2014, her son, 68-year-old Yang Shun-wen, took her back to the hospital to see her doctor Wang Jie-shan. The doctor was greatly surprised.

On November 20, 2014, the family invited fellow worshippers of the Medicine Buddha to celebrate 95-year-old lady Yang Chang Yueh-yun’s miraculous recovery.

Jin Bodhi followers all know about and have learned the mantra of the Medicine Master of Lapis Lazuli Light Buddha.

They are told to listen to the mantra often for both physical and spiritual healing.

A young polio stricken woman was hit by a truck as she disembarked a bus in San Francisco. Her already deformed legs were crushed by the truck that ran over her. She was sent to the San Francisco General Hospital. One of the aluminum walking sticks she used was crushed and forcibly fused with her arm. After some surgery, she was sent to the recovery ward. A friend of hers visited her in the hospital and gave her an audio recording of the mentra of the Medicine Buddha. She listened to it frequently. To the surprise of the nurses, she was able to recover much quicker than patients in similar conditions.

There should be many more such miraculous healings allegedly attributed to reciting the mantra of the Medicine Buddha.

The two cases cited above are true as reported. The effect seems to be real.
